Humongous Kalb Schnitzel, one of the best I have ever had! Sides were not that great, but who cares - Schnitzel alone was an experience! Lingonberries added a nice flavor! Forget tourist traps in downtown!
Amazing. It is located right next to Südbad so one can go there after a good swimming workout. I am definitely planning to do this Food was great. Typical Bavarian restaurant food choices however, the portions were huge (which I absolutely loved, I'm more of a quantity guy ) and I found the food to taste much better than other restaurants I have tried in similar cuisine. A German colleague recommended me this place so I went to give it a try. Judging from the atmosphere of the restaurant and the customers, it seems like it is only popular among the locals. The interior is not as pretty as the popular German restaurants, but it's a nice place for a family dinner. The staffs are very kind as well. I ordered schnitzel with salami and cheese on top, dressed in gravy, and lean pork steaks with mushroom sauce and käsespätzle as the side. The food was delicious, not like exceptional, but tastes "homey". I was particularly amazed by the meat, which was cooked perfectly and tender. The käsespätzle was creamy and cheesy, which is good news! The portions are huuuuuge, very worth the price. And they have good beer as well. I'm definitely keen for another visit :)
this was some of the best Bavarian/german food I've had to date. the Schnitzel was large and delicious and the Valley Pfandl (pork steaks over kaiserspetzle with creamy mushroom sauce and fried onions) blew me away. one of these dishes would be enough for two people. can't wait to go back
The food was very good, the staff were very nice, polite, communicative and good at recommending what would fit you. The meal size was significant and drinks were of high quality. Highly recommended!
LOVE THIS PLACE! You cannot beat Valley’s for a massive, hearty German meal. Service is excellent, food is delicious, portions are huge, prices are fair, wonderful atmosphere. You really should try this if you want real German cooking. I recommend the Pfandl, the roast pork and dumplings, the soups are also very good. Will be back.
Schnitzel is awesome and it's enough for two people. It comes with salad and costs 14€. The service was good eventhough it was really crowded.
Food is big and delicious! They have a special deal on Monday night which schnitzel is cheaper! Worth to try!
Huge portion, really good food and choise of beer. Staff speaks English too and they are really nice and friendly. Price are also ok. Really recommend, we stayed 1night in a hotel close by and we were there dinner and back for lunch.
Great experience for dinner - English speaking staff who are friendly and attentive, very generous portions and reasonable prices. The English menu helped too! Also easy to get to, with two U stations closeby.
